Jessica Alba
Jessica Marie Alba (American actress and businesswoman)
is Jessica Marie Alba. Her first television and movie roles came at the age of
13 in Camp Nowhere (1994), and The Secret World of Alex Mack (1994). She rose
to prominence in the role of lead actress of Dark Angel (192000-2002), for whom
she was nominated for the Golden Globes. Honey (2003) was her first big screen
appearance. She soon became an established star in Hollywood and has starred as
several films that have made the box office, like Fantastic Four (2005),
Fantastic Four : Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) and Good Luck Chuck (2007).
She has a long-running collaboration with Robert Rodriguez. Her roles include
Sin City (2005). Machete (2010). Spy Kids All the Time in the World (2011).
Machete Kills (2013). Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014). Alba starred in
Spectrum's action-crime drama series L.A. Finest from 2019 until 2020. Alba
co-founded The Honest Company (a consumer goods business that sells items for
household, personal and babies) in the year 2011. Magazines like Men's Health
as well as FHM and Vanity Fair included her among their lists of the most
gorgeous women. Jessica Marie Alba was born in Pomona, California, on April 28,
1981 to Catherine Louisa (nee Jensen) and Mark David Alba. Her mother has
Danish, Welsh, German and English ancestry. Her paternal grandparents are both
Californian immigrants. She has a younger brother, Joshua. The third cousin of
her, who was once removed, is writer Gustavo Arellano. The father of her Air
Force career took her family to Biloxi in Mississippi and Del Rio Texas before
she returned to Claremont California at the age of nine. Alba described her
family's strict character as being a traditional, Catholic and Latin American
family. However, she describes her own liberal views as she's declared herself
a feminist from the age of five.
