Will Ferrell

Will Ferrell first became well-known as a cast member for "Saturday Night Live.' He later starred in a variety of major screen comedies, like Elf, Anchorman' and even ’Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was raised in Irvine, California in 1967. His comedy career began as an Groundlings group member. After his seven-year tenure as Saturday Night Live's star actor, Ferrell shot to fame with off-color shows including Old School (2003). Ferrell was also co-founder of the video streaming website Funny or Die and enjoyed success as a voice actor in animated films such as Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell was conceived in Irvine, California on July 16th 1967. The oldest son of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell and teacher Kay Ferrell, Will was--by his own admission--hardly the class clown as a student at University High School. Ferrell, who was quite calm and quiet, decided to make his mark on football, setting records for the school's most field goals he made. Ferrell did not display the outrageous, humorous outbursts which would make him famous later in his career, even though he lived in suburban peace and quiet.
