Abby Elliott

Abby Elliott, born June 16 1987 is an American actress and comedian. She was an Saturday Night Live cast member from 2008 to 2012. Since then , she has starred in the Bravo comedy Odd Mom Out as well as the NBC sitcom Indebted. She is the daughter of actor/comedian Chris Elliott. Elliott was born in New York City, the elder of two children. She is the daughter of Paula Niedert a talent coordinator and comedian/actress Chris Elliott. Her grandfather was a radio comedian Bob Elliott. She is the younger sister of the actress Bridey Elliott. They both were born in Wilton, Connecticut. She was a student at Immaculate High School Danbury where she performed in musicals and school plays. After graduating from Immaculate High School in 2005 she went to Marymount Manhattan College in New York City but she dropped out of the first year of her studies. Elliott also dated Fred Armisen in the year 2010. They ended their relationship in September 2011. Elliott was married to Bill Kennedy, a TV writer, on September 3, 2016. The couple has a daughter, Edith Pepper Kennedy. Elliott was a student at The Groundlings, and then began performing and training in various sketch comedy shows at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB), Los Angeles.
